Flash to USB
Plug in any USB drive (or pick an empty folder), then click Flash. The whole SubSave app installs in seconds.
โš  Browser not supported. The flasher needs Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium-based browser on a desktop computer. Safari and Firefox don't support the File System Access API yet.
For those browsers, download a ZIP instead and copy the files onto your USB manually.

USB ready!
SubSave is installed on the drive. Eject it from your computer, then plug it into the classroom computer. Open SubSave_LAUNCH.html to start.
๐Ÿ“
What goes on the USB: a single SubSave_LAUNCH.html file (the only thing the sub clicks) and a SubSave_DO_NOT_TOUCH/ folder containing the app. Pure HTML โ€” no installer, no admin password.
๐Ÿ”’
Privacy: Files are written directly from your browser to your USB drive. Nothing is uploaded. Your files don't pass through any server.
๐Ÿ†•
Empty drive recommended: Plug in a fresh or empty USB. SubSave needs only ~500 KB but coexists best with its own folder.
๐ŸŽ“
How a sub uses it: Plug USB into the classroom computer, double-click SubSave_LAUNCH.html, choose Teacher / Planned Sub / Unplanned Day, and follow the setup. Everything runs offline in the browser.
